Doha: Ooredoo has announced that it will pay its Global Medium Term Note (GMTN) holders’ interest payment of more than $16m on February 22, 2022.
In an announcement on Qatar Stock Exchange, the company said that the issuer of the bonds, Ooredoo International Finance Limited (OIFL), which is wholly owned by Ooredoo, will pay noteholders $16.250m on the interest payment date falling due on February 22, 2022.
The announcement indicated that the company will pay the accrued interest of 3.25 percent next month to the bondholders amounting to $1bn guaranteed and due on February 21, 2023.
