The new generation assumed power in a country that seemed, at that time, to rush with constructive strength and stable speed to take its place among the most developed nations of the world.
It is a significant milestone date that marks the 10-year anniversary of the Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani’s taking office, after serving as Heir Apparent and Deputy Amir for ten years. Since the development of the country was comprehensive, it included many sectors, including a series of reforms of laws and regulations. Not to mention here, the labour law reformation which was a milestone achievement for labour rights and first of its kind in the region.
The leadership vision of His Highness the Amir was also manifested in facing the regional and international challenges that the country faced, from political crises at the level of the GCC countries, and the global crisis brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, to the wars in Afghanistan, Yemen, Syria and others, and in the successful mediation undertaken by the State of Qatar to resolve many bloody conflicts.
