Donald Trump took the oath as the 47th President of the United States yesterday, marking the start of what he described as a “golden age” for America. Speaking during his historic second inaugural address, Trump outlined an ambitious vision for his country, pledging to rescue what he called a “broken” society and usher in a period of unparalleled prosperity and global respect.

“The golden age of America begins right now,” “From this day forward, our country will flourish and be respected again all over the world,” President Trump declared.

President Trump’s vision for his new term is bold, beginning with immediate actions on immigration and domestic issues.

While these domestic policies have drawn significant attention, for the global population United States prosperity and advancement are undeniably intertwined with global stability and development. For decades, the United States has been a cornerstone of the world order, playing a vital role in defense, international diplomacy, and the promotion of peace. President Trump’s promise to be a peacemaker, to end wars, and to foster global stability resonates with many who are eager to see end to conflict and chaos.

This message is particularly important for the Arab and Islamic world. The people of this region, who have endured decades of war, political instability, and economic stagnation, look toward the United States’ renewed global leadership with cautious optimism. President Trump’s emphasis on peace and his pledge to address global conflicts offer a glimmer of hope for a region that has long suffered under the weight of turmoil.

The recent ceasefire agreement in Gaza, in which the State of Qatar, US and Egypt played key role and their tireless diplomatic efforts made it possible after fifteen months of up and down between success and failure. This agreement achieved just a day before Trump took the oath of office, stands as a testament to the potential for meaningful change. After 471 days of horrific war, destruction, and unimaginable suffering, the people of Gaza can finally breathe a sigh of relief. This development has bolstered the belief among many in the Arab and Islamic world that Trump’s administration may represent a turning point—one that prioritizes peace, justice, and stability.

In the Arab and Islamic world, the hope is that Trump’s commitment to “end war everywhere” will translate into tangible actions that support development, rebuild shattered communities, and address long-standing grievances. The region’s people have faced tremendous challenges over the past two decades and they desire for a new just chapter for the Palestinians’ long standing sufferings. The golden age he envisions for America has the potential to ripple across borders, fostering a new era of stability and prosperity.
