New stadiums, new roads, opening of new museums, installation of previously unseen public art, and unparalleled public transportation have all been prepared for everyone travelling to Qatar for the World Cup starting tomorrow. Qatar has seen a significant transformation since it was chosen to host the biggest soccer event in the world, similar to a hidden pearl emerging from its shell.

Despite all the fake news and hostile media campaigns directed at Qatar, it persisted in demonstrating that it was deserving of hosting the 22nd edition of the quadrennial with the theme “Now is all.”

Now is all. Now begins tomorrow. Qatar is ready for you and for the world to see what this country can offer - from sports, tourism, transportation, arts, entertainment. We have it all. The Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) has granted all broadcasting and media rights holders the radio spectrum that enables more than 3.5 billion expected viewers to tune in to unique official broadcast coverage of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 on television, digital platforms, and public screens.

Qatar also announced yesterday the establishment of viewing centers for refugees and displaced persons in some countries, including Bangladesh, Sudan, Iraq, and Jordan. Both Hamad International Airport (HIA) and Doha International Airport have finlaised their preparations for welcoming the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 fans, as both airports are currently witnessing flight influx coming from all over the world to enjoy Qatar 2022.

The passengers who will be departing through Hamad International Airport (HIA) or Doha International Airport (DIA) will be able to enjoy the Passenger Overflow Area where numerous football-themed and entertainment activities are arranged.

The Director of Qatar 2022 Contact Center Khalid Al Jumaily, confirmed that the center has received nearly half a million phone calls and more than 300,000 emails since its launch last March, related to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. The Cultural Village Foundation - Katara kicked off a large number of events yesterday ahead of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. The football-themed activities and entertainment has started at Msheireb Downtown Doha as the Sikka Festival and live musical performances commenced yesterday.

A special treat for football fans who want to experience Qatar through sailing as 40 refurbished dhow boats are ready to operate during the global soccer tournament. Film lovers are in for a visual treat at the idyllic Heenat Salma Farm from November 24 to December 16, as the Doha Film Institute (DFI) brings the most endearing and inspiring selection of films from around the world.
