Qatar-Kuwait relations are strong, reinforced by high-level coordination between the wise leaderships of the two countries and their commitment to enhancing these relations in various fields, which transformed the historic ties between the two nations from bilateral cooperation into a comprehensive strategic partnership and integration across various domains. The two countries share relations and bonds that extend beyond the boundaries of diplomatic and geographic concepts, rooted deep in history. These ties serve as a living example of integration, solidarity, and collaboration, not only in the Arabian Gulf region but throughout the entire Arab world.
Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani yesterday held talks with Kuwait’s Amir, Crown Prince and Prime Minister in Kuwait. The talks during these meetings focused on advancing bilateral cooperation. Besides, the two countries held the seventh session of their Joint Higher Committee for Cooperation yesterday, aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and expanding collaboration across a range of sectors. The Qatari side was chaired by Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, while Kuwait was represented by Foreign Minister H E Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the two sides signed several agreements and memoranda of understanding. The agreement seeks to enhance trade exchange and encourage the flow of investments between the two nations.
