Children and families enjoy various activities at Medina Centrale, The Pearl-Qatar.
Doha: United Development Company (UDC), a leading Qatari public shareholding Company and master developer of The Pearl-Qatar, continued organising a series of successful family entertainment activities at Medina Centrale, The Pearl-Qatar.
Families turned out in their hundreds to enjoy a package of activities over the weekend in The Pearl-Qatar on Friday. The one-day weekend activities at Medina Centrale featured everything from funny shows, training workshops, cartoon character parade, to innovative and exciting games, in addition to kid’s plays along with stage performances.
For the second week, Medina Centrale — an entertainment destination for families from within the country and the region — celebrated this weekend with surprises and programmes designated for residents of The Pearl-Qatar and visitors with their children looking for fun in a safe place on the Island.
During the weekend, the plaza and facades of restaurants and cafes in Medina Centrale was the centre for family fun. Events included kid’s plays along with stage performances that attracted large crowds.
Children received a special welcome from their loved cartoon characters who have been touring continuously to meet young children. Kids took the opportunity to have photo session with these cartoon characters before accompanying them to the main activities. Another attraction during this weekend was the inclusion of recreational activities targeting all segments of society.
