Doha: Qatar, represented by Qatar Philatelic and Numismatic Centre — an affiliate of the Ministry of Culture, will participate in Sharjah 2022 Stamp Exhibition organised by Emirates Philatelic Association from Nov 1-5 in the United Arab Emirates.
This comes within the participation of philatelic societies in the Gulf and Arab states.
The Qatar Philatelic and Numismatic Centre indicated that it will participate in the event with a delegation that includes philatelic and coins enthusiasts in Qatar, and will feature the centre’s participation in new topics for stamp shows with global and Gulf participation.
The Qatar Philatelic and Numismatic Centre works on nurturing and spreading the culture of collecting stamps and coins, promoting it and providing the appropriate conditions for its development by scientific and technical means.
The centre also works to create ways for all its members to practise the hobby in an appropriate manner and to strengthen ties of cooperation and acquaintance between philatelic and coin collectors in Qatar.
Qatar Philatelic and Numismatic Centre has been awarded several medals.
