Doha: Public Works Authority (Ashghal) announced a temporary closure on Onaiza Street in both directions from and to the Civil Defense Intersection from Friday until Sunday to enable works to convert the Civil Defence Roundabout to a signal-controlled intersection.
Ashghal said Onaiza Street will be closed in the direction from Civil Defense Intersection to Onaiza Intersection, with traffic diverted to Mohamed bin Thani Street.
Onaiza Street will also be closed in the direction from Onaiza Intersection towards Civil Defense Intersection, and traffic will be diverted right onto Khalifa Street then to TV Roundabout. For those coming from TV Roundabout to Civil Defense Intersection, traffic will be diverted to Khalifa Street towards Oryx Intersection.
The authority requested all road users to abide by the speed limits, and follow the road signs to ensure their and others safety.
