DOHA: Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has announced that it has successfully implemented Clinical Information System (CIS) in all health centre.
Mesaimeer Health Centre was the last where patient records sent digital.
PHCC said it completed procedures to implement the new system at Mesaimeer Health Centre and provided training for all employees.
The Clinical Information System helps doctors access all information about a patient electronically, so a patient does not have to explain his or her medical history every time they visit a public healthcare provider.
The system makes it easier for doctors as they don’t have to go through paper files and can see notes from the previous visits on their computer screens.
PHCC said it completed implementing CIS at all health centres on time as part of the National Health Strategy for Healthcare to achieve Qatar National Vision 2030.
