Doha: The Ministry of Public Health organised a blood donation campaign for its staff in collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation.
The campaign has seen a marked demand from employees who flocked to the medical car prepared for blood donation at the main entrance to the ministry.
Muna Al Khater, Head, Internal Communication Section, said: “The blood donation drive, supervised by the Social Committee at the ministry, highlights the importance of a blood donation culture in society, aims at increasing Blood Bank stocks and and support ther communities.
“The ministry is keen to hold blood donation campaigns to enhance the role of its employees as part of their community, humanitarian and social responsibilities to help patients and hospitals that needed blood.The Peninsula
