Visitors looking at Toshiba’s Regza Premium 2K Z and J Series TV’s at a trade show in Tokyo as the company said its first-quarter net profit climbed 68.7 percent due to brisk sales in infrastructure business and PCs in Japan. In the April-June period, Toshiba posted a net profit of 8.9bn yen ($87m).
