A view of the CNA-Q’s first-ever ‘Fantastic Week’.
College of North Atlantic in Qatar (CNA-Q) recently held its first-ever ‘Fantastic Week’ under the theme Made in Qatar. During the week, the College hosted a variety of performance-based events featuring home grown talent from Qatar, as well as many of the College’s very own students. Students, friends, families and faculty were invited to show their school spirit during events each evening during the week.
The Open Mic, BBQ & Picnic was a backyard picnic-style barbeque and included local Qatari food. The evening featured student singers, musical bands, a DJ, makerspaces, and recreation activities i.e. basketball hoops, ping pong, and foosball.
The Poetry Evening was an event filled with thoughtful and inspiring verse and rhyme, by both Arabic and English performers.
A Comedy Show was held by Mohamed Al Nuaimi, CNA-Q alumnus and the founder and creator of the Qatar Comedy Club headlined the show, along with other entertaining comedians. Mawaheb Talent Show featured many of our talented students at CNA-Q. Performances included dancing, singing, beatboxing, magic performances and music, to name a few. It was a special night of celebration that capped off a full week of ‘Made in Qatar’ talent.
