HE Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah met with French Minister of the Armed Forces Florence Parly, in the course of his official visit to the French Republic. Talks during the meeting dealt with the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries in the defense and military fields and means of enhancing them, as well as the latest developments regarding the projects of the Qatari Armed Forces.
The two sides discussed ways of promoting the cooperation between the two countries in the field of cybersecurity, which receives great attention from the senior leadership in the Qatari Armed Forces. The meeting also touched on the current situation in the Gulf region and its repercussions on the region, in addition to the Syrian and Libyan crises and the war in Yemen. The meeting was attended by Qatar’s Ambassador to the French Republic Dr. Khalid bin Rashid Al Mansouri and senior officers of the Qatari Armed Forces.
