PM inspects Kahramaa’s National Control Centre

Doha: Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani yesterday paid an inspection visit to the National Control Centre of Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) in Al Thumama.
He was briefed on the most important projects implemented by Kahramaa, including the 2022 FIFA World Cup projects, infrastructure for plots of land given to citizens, other projects and future plans. 
The Premier also inspected the crisis management mechanism, particularly for the centre’s monitoring and controlling system, and the plan for dealing with crises.
He listened to a detailed explanation on the mechanism of action, electronic services being provided and Kahramaa’s achievement in key performance indicators in the field of electricity and water networks. The Premier was also briefed on the solar power generating system linked directly to the electricity grid of the centre.
He praised efforts of officials of services and emergency centres,  electronic services and plans implemented to further improve services.
The Premier stressed the importance of providing the best services to citizens and residents while continuing to attach importance to infrastructure projects, their readiness and quick implementation of infrastructure services for plots of land given to citizens.
