DOHA: The ninth edition of the ‘Back 2 Business’, one of the largest business networking event in Qatar, will be held on October 2, the organising committee said at a press conference here yesterday.
The event will be hosted by eight non-profit international business councils in Qatar, including German, Italian, Scandinavian, Dutch, Australian-New Zeeland, British, Spanish and Turkish.
Tickets are on sale at Vodafone stores and on the night (from 7pm) at the Grand Hyatt Hotel.
“The Back 2 Business is attended every year by approximately 600 professionals and decision makers who believe in the benefits of business networking. Doha businessmen are aware that Back 2 Business is unquestionably a valuable event to expand one’s knowledge, learn from the success of others, attain new clients and tell others about your business and be updated on market rumours,” said Palma Libotte, Chairperson of the Italian Business Council, during the meeting.
The event was introduced to Qatar almost a decade ago, by the German Business Council, with the purpose of reconnecting with business contacts after the long summer break. The Italians were soon asked to join, and today eight of the most influential international business councils in Qatar run the show.
