DOHA: Eid Charity has dispatched urgent humanitarian aid worth QR1m to support thousands of besieged Syrians in Aleppo who are battling for survival.
The aid included baby milk and other basic food items.
The charity called on people – citizens and expatriates — to extend their helping hand to people in Aleppo living under heavy shelling.
The donations starting from QR5 to feed a displaced Syrian citizen for a day can be made by sending a text message on 920309. The amount will be deducted from the mobile credit of the sender.
