Ministry of Economy and Commerce announced the recall of six of IKEA’s chocolate products for containing nuts and almonds
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce, in collaboration with Hamad and Mohamed Al- Futtaim Company –IKEA has announced the recall of six of IKEA’s chocolate brands and advised people with allergies to nuts and almonds against consuming the products.
The ministry said the recall campaign comes within the framework of its ongoing efforts to ensure that suppliers comply with product quality and specifications in order to protect consumers.
The ministry said it has coordinated with the supplier in order to withdraw the product from IKEA and urged all consumers who suffer from allergies to nuts and almonds and have purchased the product to directly contact IKEA –Qatar to return the product and obtain a refund.
