Nouakchott: Mauritania President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz yesterday met Foreign Minister H E Dr Khalid bin Mohamed Al Attiyah, who is on a visit to the country.
Dr Al Attiyah conveyed greetings of Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and his wishes of further progress and prosperity to the Mauritanian people.
Abdel Aziz entrusted Dr Al Attiyah to convey his greetings to the Emir, wishing him the best of health and happiness and further progress and prosperity to Qatar.
Talks dealt with relations, means of enhancing them and issues of mutual interest.
Mauritanian Prime Minister Yahya Ould Hademine also met Dr Al Attiyah and discussed ways of developing relations and issues of common interest.
Earlier, Dr Al Attiyah held a meeting with his counterpart Fatma Vall bint Soueinae.
Victoria: Seychelles President James Michel received the credentials of Qatar’s Non-Resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ibrahim bin Mohamed Al Abdullah. Michel wished Al Abdullah success in enhancing friendship and cooperation between both countries.
In Tbilisi, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister David Jalagania received the credentials of Qatari Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Mubarak bin Nasser Mubarak Al Khalifa. Jalagania wished the envoy success in his job.
