Doha: The Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs yesterday announced summer working hours for outdoor works. The new working hours will be in force from June 15 until August 31 in line with the Ministerial Decree No. 16 of 2007.
The summer working hours must not be longer than five hours in the morning and it must not exceed 11:30 am as well. The evening working hours must not start before 3pm. Employers must put the timetable in a visible place at the workplace, according to the decree. The ministry warned that any facility that violates the decree will be closed for a period not exceeding one month.
