Ali Al Kuwari, Director, Contributors Department, GRSIA, said the two-day meeting will review progress of applying insurance protection extension system for GCC nationals and qualifying trainers specialised in retirement issues.
The meeting will also discuss joint programmes and projects and exchange experiences and expertise.
An awareness meeting will be held on the sidelines to inform Gulf nationals working in Qatar about signing-up procedures, benefits, methods of contributions, collection and objectives of the system.
The GRSIA is seeking to identify obstacles that may face the insured people and resolve them in cooperation with retirement services in GCC countries.
