The market capitalisation decreased to QR653.76bn from QR657.07bn registered Wednesday.
The traded value dropped to QR441.65m with a volume of about 8.5 million shares from 5,545 transactions compared to QR726.94m with a volume of about 14.75 million shares from 7,018 transactions on Wednesday.
Indices of four sectors gained and three dropped today. Telecoms index advanced the most, up 1.20 percent to 1,304.9 points and real estate index declined the most, down 0.84 percent to 2,621.39 points.
QSE Total Return Index dropped -0.68 percent (18,904.24 points). QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index dropped 0.62 percent (4,617.29 points). QSE All Share Index dropped 0.55 percent (3,250.66 points).
From the 43 listed companies, shares of 41 saw trading today. From these, 12 advanced, 26 declined and three remained unchanged.
