QE loses 69.29 points more

Doha: Qatar Exchange ended in the red area when trading closed yesterday at 12,626.95 points, down 69.29 points, or 0.55 percent, from the previous closing of 12,696.24 points on Monday.
The volume of shares was fell to 18,771,752 from Monday 37,103,559 and the value of shares decreased to QR780,816,042.56 from QR1,347,452,326.19 on Monday.
Among the top losers were Doha Bank whose share was down 2.32 percent to QR63.20, Masraf Al Rayan lost 0.84 percent to QR47.40, National Leasing fell 2.71 percent to QR30.50 and Ezdan Holding decreased by 9.93 percent to QR36.75.
Elsewhere in the region, First-quarter results from large-cap companies weighed in Abu Dhabi, while Dubai edged higher in muted trade. Abu Dhabi’s bourse slipped 0.4 percent as shares in National Bank of Abu Dhabi fell 1.7 percent. In Dubai, the main index added 0.2 percent.
