DOHA: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrives here on Tuesday on an official visit. Erdogan will be accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising ministers of interior, education, finance, environment, defence, telecommunications, transport, culture, tourism and economy, and businessmen.
The Qatar-Turkish Supreme Strategic Committee will hold its first meeting here led by top leaders of the countries. Several agreements are expected to be signed. Erdogan is expected to inaugurate Turkish Cultural Center in Doha. The meeting of the Strategic Committee is significant as it will help strengthen ties between Qatar and Turkey, said Salem bin Mubarak Al Shafi, Qatar’s Ambassador to Turkey.
