QE index gains 92.06 points this week

Doha: Qatar Exchange index gained 92.06 points (0.90 percent) this week when the bourse closed at 10,375.06 points last afternoon.
The trading value of QR2,290,151,860.64 is a decrease by 11.79 percent compared to QR2,596,305,635.52 registered last week. The trading volume of 80,423,297 shares is a decrease by 1.94 percent compared to 82,015,809 shares last week while the 31,836 transactions is a drop by 9.40 percent compared to 35,140 transactions.
The market capitalisation of QR555,026,659,015.40 is an increase by 0.33 percent compared to QR553,188,359,998.46 at the end of the previous week.
Banks and Financial Services led the traded value this week with 28.3 percent of the total traded value. Real Estate accounted for 24.15 percent. Industries accounted for 15.79 percent and telecoms accounted for 13.37 percent. Real Estate led the traded volume this week with 32.32 percent of the total traded volume. Telecoms accounted for 23.63 percent. Banks and financial services accounted for 19.55 percent and consumer goods and services accounted for 9.54 percent.
Banks and financial services topped the number of traded transactions with 26.39 percent of the total number of transactions. Real Estate accounted for 21.30 percent. Industries accounted for 16.35 percent and consumer goods and services accounted for 14.46 percent.
From the 42 listed companies 25 ended this week higher while 14 fell and three remained unchanged. Barwa Real Estate led the traded value this week with 11.69 percent of the total traded value.  Vodafone Qatar accounted for 8.77 percent and Qatari Investors Group accounted for 7.94 percent. QNA
