Doha, Qatar: Scale AI, which provides the high-quality data that powers the world’s leading AI models and helps enterprises and governments build, deploy and oversee AI applications, today signed an agreement with United Development Company (UDC), the master developer of The Pearl and Gewan islands, to establish a long-term home for Scale Qatar at UDC Tower at The Pearl Island in Doha. The agreement was signed by Yasser Salah Al Jaidah, UDC President & CEO and Amr Samir, Qatar Country Lead at Scale AI, at UDC’s pavilion in Cityscape Qatar 2026 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center.
The new office, nearly 2,000 square meters, builds on the five-year partnership Scale announced with the State of Qatar and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) at Web Summit Qatar 2025. It reflects Scale’s enduring confidence in Qatar’s future and its commitment to supporting the country’s AI ambitions through a growing team on the ground.
“Qatar’s leadership has set a compelling vision for AI to serve its people and strengthen its institutions, and MCIT is turning that vision into practical capability” said Amr Samir, Qatar Country Lead at Scale AI. “We are honored by the State of Qatar’s and MCIT’s trust and partnership. Our confidence in Qatar’s long-term vision for an AI-enabled society is stronger than ever. Our home at The Pearl reflects our commitment to contribute for years to come, working alongside our partners and talent in Qatar to build reliable AI.”
