There was talk about the establishment of a special body to monitor manipulation and misuse of health insurance, as the authorities have made it clear that any kind of violation or misuse will not be tolerated, and licences will be revoked, and doctors who committed the violation will be blacklisted, after cancelling his licence. 

There are many complaints against increasing prices of foods in cafeterias in schools and foods are of poor quality. 

There was a discussion in the social media about the decline in the standards of the popular radio phone-in programme “Watani Al Habib Sabah Al Khair -- Good morning, my beloved country - and people are saying there is a need for more interactive programmes.

A number of citizens have criticised the preparations taking place at several commercial centres to celebrate Saints Day on October 31. They say the celebration requires the wearing of masks and fancy dress, which these malls want to sell for this occasion. 

There was discussion about the three public parks that have been opened recently under the municipality of Al Rayyan.

People are demanding that the authorities concerned establish new slaughterhouses to reduce crowds and long waiting time at the existing slaughterhouse in the central market.
