Doha: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced that streets 658, 656, 654 and 660 in Doha Industrial Area will be closed from this evening for a year.
One lane will remain open to traffic on Street 653 in the direction to West Industrial Street and Streets 655, 657 and 659 will be open in both directions to access residential buildings and businesses.
The diversion is to facilitatre works to upgrade Doha’s Industrial Area Package 2 to increase the capacity of roads and provide full integrated infrastructure. Ashghal urged road users to abide by speed limits and traffic signs for safety.
