DOHA: Cultural Village Foundation, Katara, awarded winners of 5th edition of Holy Quran contest, on the sidelines of Katara Ramadan festival.
A month long festival is being held under the slogan of “Holy Quran and the Creation of Human being”.
Katara General Manager Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti handed over the prize money to the winners. They were also given additional prizes.
Al Sulaiti also met with the parents and guardians of the winners. He stressed on the importance of reciting and memorising Holy Quran in the meeting. He urged the parents to sit with their children for a while helping them to recite and memorise the Holy Quran.
