Govt offices to close for Eid from July 3 to July 11

Doha: The Emiri Diwan has announced the holiday dates during Eid Al Fitr for ministries and other government entities and public institutions as well as Qatar Central Bank (QCB), banks, financial institutions under QCB’s jurisdiction, and Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA), reports QNA.
According to the announcement, holidays for ministries and other government entities and public institutions start on Sunday, Ramadan 28, 1437H, which corresponds to July 3, 2016, and ends on Monday, July 11, 2016.
Employees are to resume work on Tuesday, July 12.
As for QCB, banks, financial institutions under QCB’s jurisdiction, and QFMA, the QCB governor shall specify the beginning and end of the holiday.
