DOHA: Pakistan International School (PISQ) held spelling bee competition at its premises.  The competition was organised with the core purpose of giving the students an exposure to a wide range of vocabulary and helping them develop lifelong skills by increasing understanding of words, their meanings and usage. 

Nargis Raza Otho, Principal of PISQ, graced the occasion as a Chief Guest. The enthusiastic participation of the students from grade V to Grade VIII made the competition a triumphant success. 25 contestants from the said grades took part in the competition who were divided into 4 groups with 6 participants in each group (Only Grade 5 consisting of 7). 

After the tough competitions the positions in each group were finalised. In Grade V Maryam Asad, Laiba Hina, Hafsa Muhammad and Eshal Ali shared 1st position. In Grade VI, the 1st position was notched by Ahlam Rashid & Sara Sultan, Shahida Sanaulla stood 2nd. In Grade VII Maha Anees got 1stposition, Affan Khan got 2nd and Haleema Azhar got 3rd position. In Grade VIII the top position went to Khadija Yousaf, 2nd to Hasna Iqbal, 3rd to Ayesha Khurruam. In the end the Bee Champions were awarded with certificates by the Chief Guest.
