Dr T P Sasikumar, an expert, shares his views during a course for teachers at Ideal Indian School.
DOHA: Ideal Indian School (IIS) conducted a refresher course for its teachers on Tuesday and yesterday.
The main objective of the course was to hone and strengthen their skills. It also aims to help the teachers to keep pace with the rapid advancements in knowledge and technology.
Dr. T P Sasikumar, an educationist and motivational speaker from Kerala, was the chief guest and he addressed the teaching faculty. He shared his ideas on the topic ‘Creative and Innovative Learning’.
In his session, he discussed the various strategies to be adopted to make teaching-learning a unique and memorable experience. It was a vibrant session and all the teachers took part very enthusiastically.
Inaugurating the session, Principal of the school, Syed Shoukath Ali, said that IIS stands for quality and value based education and that this can be achieved only if the teachers upgrade their knowledge, teaching methodology and learn to understand their students better.
