Moldovan Ambassador visits Katara

The General Manager of Cultural Village Foundation- Katara, Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, met Ambassador of Republic of Moldova to Qatar, Valeriu Tihonov, yesterday with an aim to boost mutual ties amongst the cultural entities in both countries.
During the visit, Valeriu Tihonov said the Cultural Village Foundation- Katara acts as a cultural hub that connects people from all walks of life. In addition, the ambassador, recalled previous success of a concert by Moldovan traditional performers at Katara in June 2014, proposed a similar cultural event presenting the Moldovan culture in-the-near-future.
The Moldovan envoy praised unceasing efforts of Cultural Village Foundation- Katara to expose the public to various cultures from the region and beyond.
General Manager of the Cultural Village Foundation- Katara, Dr  Al Sulaiti exuded his appreciation and gratitude to the Moldovan Ambassador, for the latter’s keen interest in encouraging efforts of Katara, by extending proposals for more Moldovan concerts and performances at the Cultural Village.
Katara’s chief added, “The proposals will be taken into serious consideration, as Katara is keen on building communication bridges with the aim of sharing culture, heritage and traditions of all countries.”
