Aigner, renowned luxury fashion house, along with Blue Salon, Renowned luxury fashion and merchandise retailer, celebrated the launch of the house’s latest Spring & Summer collection at the house’s flagship store at The-Pearl.
The launch ceremony was attended by Qatar’s most fashionable, as well as, members of the press.
The new Spring & Summer 2017 collection, called Kaleidoscopia, stands for colour diversity, playing with forms and being fascinated with magic.
The kaleidoscope’s pattern reflects the manifold possibilities for individuality in the collection. Forms reassembling themselves continuously, from different perspectives, with diversity and plenty of facets.
The collection’s graphic forms and patterns were highlighted through very different colours as well as with metal appliqués, leather embossments and in an indirect way also with the clasps and decorative elements.
The inspiration for the Spring & Summer 17 Collection came from two different eras: on the one hand, the colours and materials remind us of the late seventies with their disco flair as well as of Studio 54 and on the other hand, the collection was inspired by the nineties when it came to the cuts and silhouettes. The result are glamorous and cool models, that are elegant and feminine at the same time.
The colours of the collection: dark plum, light mauve, neutral tan and soft smoke grey, are contrasted by strong accents like lime, lapis green, mellow pink and cranberry red and lend an authentic summer feeling to the collection. The feel of the materials is equally rich in contrast, light fabrics like tulle and lace make for lightness, while leather, suede and nappa as well as velvet and cork, bringing necessary coolness to the collection.
