PAN NIT Qatar, the alumni association representing 30 National Institutions of Technology in India, is celebrating its second anniversary at Ritz-Carlton Doha tomorrow. Highlights of the programme include ‘Brand NIT’, a keynote speech by the visiting director of a renowned NIT, and a message to the alumni by a leading NITian in Qatar, Dr Thomas Zacharia, Executive Vice President (R&D) in Qatar Foundation. The association elected its new executive committee for 2014-16 recently. It re-elected Rakesh Soni as president, Harish Pujary as vice president, Shivesh Choudhury as general secretary and Navin Bannadi as treasurer.
