The Embassy of Portugal in Doha has begun issuing Schengen visas since Nov 1, 2016. Though the Consular Section of the Portuguese Embassy in Doha opened to the public in 2015, only now all the conditions to issue visas have been met.
Visa application is a simple process that should be done online. Applicants need to have all the documents ready prior to applying online. Once the application is filed, applicant will receive an appointment at the Embassy to collect the biometric and data. “More people see Portugal as a good country to live, visit and even build a business. A holiday in Portugal will make one re-think Europe and visits to the Azores and Madeira islands, will make tourists fall in love with the country” said Ant?nio Tânger, Ambassador of Portugal.
