The Advisory (Shura) Council held, yesterday, its weekly regular session within its 45th Ordinary Session under the chairmanship of its Speaker H E Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi.
The session was attended by the Minister of Finance H E Ali Shareef Al Emadi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, Khalaf bin Ahmed Al Mannai along with a number of senior officials of the Ministry.
At the outset of the meeting, Secretary-General of the Advisory Council, Fahd bin Mubarak Al Khayarain read the agenda, which was approved. The Advisory Council then approved the minutes of its previous session. A memorandum by the General Secretariat of the Cabinet's on referring all key chapters and sectors of the State's Public Budget for the Fiscal Year 2017 as well as the attached Draft Law to the Advisory Council was then read.

H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani for his wise directives and for the attention paid to all sectors, particularly education, health, infrastructure and transportation sectors. This comes within the framework of the Emir's keenness to raise and promote the homeland while protecting the interests of citizens and working to achieve their aspirations and meet their ambitions for a better future of the State of Qatar, Al Khulaifi said. Speaker of the Advisory Council welcomed the Minister of Finance and the Ministry's officials,who explained the esteemed government's point of view on the State's draft Public Budget, make a presentation on it before responding to questions and inquiries of the Advisory Council's members.
