The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) yesterday held an Industry Conference for local and international construction contractors, in which officials from the Authority introduced the Framework Contracts for operations and maintenance (O&M) of Ashghal’s drainage assets. The Conference provided an overview of Ashghal’s corporate strategy and vision, and how the drainage O&M fits into that strategy, besides highlighting specific information such as proposed works, timeline, and key implementation considerations. Ashghal also invited contractors to participate in the upcoming tender opportunities.
