Doha: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani met yesterday with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic H E Jan Lipavsky, who is currently visiting the Country.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them, and discussed the Russian-Ukrainian crisis and its repercussions on the world and energy markets, in addition to a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
During the meeting, the Czech Foreign Minister praised the results of the visit of H H the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to the Czech Republic on the fifth of October. He reiterated the Czech Republic’s desire to strengthen relations with the State of Qatar in various fields, especially economic, investment and trade.
He affirmed that the Czech Republic is looking forward to the opening of the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Prague, after his country opened the headquarters of its mission in Doha.
