Kabul: Death toll from the earthquake that struck Afghanistan on Monday has reached to 115 people.
According to the updates released by the Presidential Palace, 538 people have been wounded in the earthquake.
It has also left 7630 homes, 20 mosques and nine government offices damaged, Afghan News Agency (Khaama) reported.
Earlier it was reported that nearly 80 people were killed, over 300 wounded and around 4,000 homes damaged in the 7.5 magnitude earthquake.
Including those killed, 12 were schoolgirls who died in a stampede that erupted at Bibi Hajera School in the capital of northeastern Takhar province.
It is yet unknown what damages the earthquake might have caused to power dams, roads and other infrastructures.
Afghan's President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has ordered that specific lists of the affected areas be prepared in order to receive aid.
In a video conference with provincial governors and the natural disaster minister Wais Ahmand Barmak on Tuesday, President Ghani said that the assistance of Air Force would be received to deliver the aid.
