DOHA: Ezdan Holding Group recorded a net profit of QR717.6m for the nine months period ended September 30, 2013 in comparison to a net profit of QR261m for the corresponding period last year.
The company’s Earnings per Share (EPS) amounted to QR 0.27 for the period versus QR 0.10 for the corresponding period in 2012, the Group said in a Qatar Exchange filing.
Ezdan Holding Group announced that its Board of Directors decided to postpone its Ordinary General Assembly (AGM) which was scheduled yesterday.
Mannai’s net profit grows by 12.3pc
DOHA: Mannai Corporation recorded a net profit of QR290.2m for the nine month period ended 30th September, 2013, an increase of 12.3 percent over the same period last year.
The company’s total revenue increased from QR 3.2bn to QR 4.1bn, 27 percent more than the same period last year.
Alekh Grewal, Group Chief Executive Officer and Director said: “Mannai Corporation is working towards building a strong international business. The Board’s medium term strategy, has three main aims: to maintain a strong capital base for growth, expansion of the Company’s overseas earnings and the continued development of our core business in Qatar.”
“Today we are well into realising that vision with more than 55 percent of total profits attributable to international assets held by Mannai Corporation,” Grewal said.
Earnings per share decreased due to the rights issue of November, 2012 to fund the Damas acquisition.
