Doha: The Kindergarten students of MES Indian School celebrated ‘Go Green’ on the virtual platform on September 24 accentuating and sensitising the young world about the beneficial effects of 3R’s- Reduce, Reuse & Recycle and the necessity to attain a sustainable development of lives on land.

Various activities related to Go Green were conducted both online and face-to-face for the tiny tots with strict adherence of the norms of social distance. These activities enabled the kids to be aware of protecting nature, its resources and to inculcate in them a sense of responsibility and the habit of keeping their environment clean.

Students also watched a video on the theme, Go Green and the importance of staying healthy. As a part of the activity for the day, students made caps using newspaper with a slogan written on it ‘Go Green Go Clean’.

A Green Salad making activity was carried out to highlight the importance of having green vegetables and fruits and the same was explained to them. All the kids of KG and also the teachers were attired in green on that day symbolising growth and harmony. Altogether, it was a refreshing moment for the kids.
