The AMU Alumni Association Qatar organised its annual ladies event ‘Zaiqa-e-Aligarh 2019’ recently at Grand Regal Hotel Doha under the managing committee of AMU Alumni Association of Qatar presided by Jawed Ahmad.

Over 130 people including  participants attended the function. Dr Ashna Nusrat  & Nuzhat  Parveen comparer of the programme greeted all the guests. Miss Haleema and Miss Samia started the program with the recitation of Holy Quran.

Dr Ashna Nusrat, the coordinator for the ladies group of AMUAAQ presented warm welcome speech and took the audience back to their golden memories. Presentation and discussion included  the topic apart from Zaiqa-e-Aligarh where Women Empowerment and justice for Twinkle Sharma was presented under child abuse.In the end a Quiz for male members related to food was also organized and all the winners were awarded with gifts.

Sofia Bukhari ‘s address to the audience was very informative and motivational as she  quoted and referred to the important part of the presentation as well. Rafat Jahan as special guest also shared her positive views while chefs Bachcha Singh and  Rajeev were the Judges of this event and M Zainab Azeem was the special judge for this event and she was appreciated for her keen and fair judgment.

Program was partially sponsored by SATCO International & Deccan Deewan while Malabar Gold provided the Gift voucher, Al Suleiman Jewelry & Watches provided the gold ring for main course winner, Qatari Canadian Trading  and QFM  Provided the Gift hampers  for this event .

Gifts, Vouchers, hampers, Zaiqa e Aligarh 2019 winner apron and certificates were distributed to all the winners and runners up. Winners:  Main course : Sadaf Kausar; Winner Starter : Khadija Perween; Winner Dessert: Farheen Haider.

The 1st runner up for Main Course was Samiya Syed; for Starter Sadaf Kausar and for Dessert  Ambiya Khatoon. And the 2nd runner up for  Main Course was Fareena Junaid for Starter Sara Ali Khan and for Dessert Afrida Khatoon.
