The project represents the community focus that the pupils genuinely practice.
Through collaboration with ROTA, pupils created two sets of ‘Ramadan Thank You’ bags from donations received from pupils and the parent community of Sherborne Qatar. Along with these and similar donations, ROTA has extended huge support through donation of food items like rice and sugar for our pupils to package up; and alsodonated phone cards, food coupons of QR 100. Over 220 bags were made up from all of these donations.
“It has been a pleasure to further our community outreach initiatives during the Holy Month through our partnership with Sherborne. These kind of initiatives form an integral part of nurturing deeper sense of community while teaching pupils importance of making a difference in lives of others,” said Essa Al Mannai, Executive Director, ROTA.
“As a facilitator of the group I am amazed at the sincerity of the pupils. They have been truly committed, made the project successful,” said Kym Prichard, Coordinator of External Relations.
