Doha: Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) organized Iftar Meet for the community members, social organisations and members of the Indian Community at Ashoka Hall, ICC on Sunday.
Coordinating Officer of Indian Cultural Centre and First Secretary, Embassy of India Suneel Thapliyal, Ambassador of Japan Shingo Tsuda and Chargé d’ Affaires of Nepal, Mani Ratan Sharma graced the occasion.
In his welcome address, ICC President Girish Kumar conveyed Ramadan greetings and extended warm welcome to the dignitaries and guests. M I Farid, former ICC president, spoke about the greatness of the holy month of Ramadan.
President of IBPN K M Varghese, President of ICBF Arvind Patil, senior community leader Hassan Chougule, Nilangshu Dey, M S Bukhari, Satish Pillai, ther community leaders, presidents and representatives of affiliated organisations of ICC attended the event. General Secretary Divakar Poojary compeered the event.
