Doha: Hamad International Airport (HIA) has advised its departing passengers during the Eid travel rush to be sure to check-in online, arrive three hours prior to flights and use the E-gates to avoid queues in order to enjoy a comfortable and seamless journey,
In a statement issued Tuesday, the airport reminded passengers that check-in will close 60 minutes prior to departure, urging the general public who are dropping off or collecting passengers to use the short-term car park, which provides complimentary parking for the first 30 minutes and costs QR 5 per hour thereafter.
"Passengers also have the option of parking their vehicles at the airport's long-term car park which provides customers with a regular shuttle service to the main terminal every 15-20 minutes," the statement said.
