DOHA: The Public Traffic Department is gearing up to launch a campaign against car owners displaying sale notices at public places, because it is against the traffic law and its amendments.
Displaying stickers about the sale of the vehicles and leaving them in public places like grounds, parking slots or by the roadside will be fined, in addition to legal procedures against the owner, Al Sharq reports. Traffic patrols will monitor cars with sale stickers parked in undesignated places for sale.
According to the traffic law, automobile showrooms and auctioneers need special permission to display cars in open grounds and roadsides for sale.
