Sixteen Sri Lankan teams participated in Serendib Bowling Championship 2013, the inaugural bowling championship organised by Zahira College Colombo Old Boys Association Qatar at Qatar Bowling Centre. Gladiators were crowned champions in the inaugural championship, while Royal Tuskers and Thunder Cats were placed first runners-up and second runners-up, respectively. Twenty children competed in kid’s bowling. Amira Husnee came first in the 8-10 age category and Sahar Samidon in the 11-15 category. It was a packed house with many Sri Lankan families in attendance to cheer on the participants.
