RasGas Company Limited (RasGas) recently hosted a group of Executive MBA students from HEC Paris in Qatar at the company’s headquarters in West Bay. The EMBA students, who were on an educational trip to RasGas, were jointly welcomed by the company’s Employee Development and Welfare Group and the Public Affairs Department. The student delegation was given a presentation, which gave them an overview of RasGas facilities and the LNG extraction, liquefaction, storage and shipping processes. The presentation, which also covered the LNG marketing and safety aspects, was followed by a question and answer session. “RasGas regularly collaborates with locally-based higher education institutions. We believe that this important relationship, a long-term education and skills transfer scheme, will help strengthen the relation between education and industry,” said Erhama Al Kaabi, Chief Employee Development and Welfare Officer at RasGas.
