Unstable weather is expected to hit the country once again tomorrow resulting in light to moderate rains. A special bulletin issued by the weather bureau yesterday said Qatar is likely to be affected by an extension of low pressure over the region beginning tomorrow, and may continue until Sunday.
The skies would be partly cloudy to cloudy, during the period, with chance of scattered rain at times accompanied by thunder at places. The prevailing winds during this period would be north-easterly to easterly and temperatures are expected to be around their normal average for the month.
The weather bureau has urged people to exercise caution and avoid sea activities during the weather changes and regularly follow its weather updates and warnings on its website and social media accounts. Meanwhile, the weather bureau has warned of low visibility during early hours. The weather will be hazy to misty at places, becoming milder by day. Visibility would be between 5 to 10 km though it can go below 2 km during misty conditions.
The winds will be variable blowing at speed less than 4 knots at first becoming north-westerly to north-easterly later going up to a speed of 13 knots, inshore. Offshore the winds would have a speed between 3 to 12 knots. Maximum temperature in Doha would be 25 degrees Celsius, and minimum temperature expected is 15 degrees Celsius. In Messaieed and Al Wakrah, the temperatures would be between 24 and 12 degrees Celsius, while in Al Khor the temperature would range be between 25 and 12 degrees Celsius.
Ruwais would have a maximum temperature of 21 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 15 degrees Celsius. In Dukhan the temperature range would be between 23 and 13 degrees Celsius and in Abu Samrah between 23 and 11 degrees Celsius. With moderate winds and calm seas, the weather is expected to remain suitable for offshore activities, today and tomorrow, according to the weather bureau.
