Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Central Bank (QCB) yesterday issued government Ijara Sukuk on behalf of the Ministry of Finance, amounting to QR2.3bn.
According to QCB data, the maturities of the Sukuk varied as follows: QR1.150bn (as an addition to an existing issuance) for a 3-year term with a yield of 4.150 percent, and QR1.150bn (as an addition to an existing issuance) for a 5-year term with a yield of 4.150 percent.
QCB explained in a post on the X platform that the total bids for the Sukuk reached approximately QR7bn.
